Binding is very tight for its age and pages are crisp with some staining, but the text and illustrations are very clear and readable. Though spotted this book has no discernible odor. Date is 1848. This book was published without dust jacket.

The Holy Bible containing the old and new testaments translated out of the original tongues, and with the former translations, diligently compared and revised with references and various readings together with Apocrypha. Binding is tight, hinges are original and unbroken and text is clean, bright and unmarked. Usually never found in this condition.
Gilt title and design on spine and cover board. Some soiling and rubs on cover. Edges and corners have some rubbing but gold gilding design still intact. All edges gilt. Discoloration and browning on pages. NOT shelf-cocked. Frontispiece. Color and black and white illustrations
